Positive: Lovely cosy little cottage. Clean and comfortable Well appointed had everything we needed for a week's stay. Ideal base for exploring the area.

Negative: Car parking is in a dirt layby on a public lane behind the cottage and could be a bit limited, on a first come first served basis, we struggled a couple of times to find space.

Positive: Lovely quiet location, cottage was welcoming and warm, excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities, and lots of extras provided so that the stay was made easy.

Negative: Stairs to upstairs were very steep, as should be expected in a cottage of this age and size, would not suit anyone with mobility issues

Positive: Very cosy, great location close to Blandford, very comfortable beds.

Negative: The second bedroom is small so no space for suitcase but very comfortable and fine if you pack light.

Summary: Lovely little cottage in a great location. Garden is a great bonus feels very private

Positive: The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. We had a great stay. Our dogs were very happy and the bsck garden was ideal for them.

Negative: The stairs are very steep and windy. We got used to them after day one so they weren't a problem to us but wouldn't be suitable for people with limited mobility.

Positive: No problem with carparking.beds were comfy. Stairs were quirky. Living room was cosy. Bathroom was clean and big. Kitchen was modern and big with lots of natural light.it was well stocked and definitely home from home. Back yard was nice, it complemented the cottage very well .

Negative: We took ages turning hot water on under sink . We also had problems with the hob . Felt like we needed a degree to work it but once used we got used to it.even though it was all wrote down in a folder. Oven cooked our fish but not the chips. Also the rug in living room needs cleaning there are stains on it from what looks like spilt tea.

Summary: Overall a lovely little cottage with quirks ,cosy and warm.

Positive: Location in Dorset was just right. Excellent host who dealt with any issues quickly. Pretty back garden .

Negative: If I had to say something it would be that the stairs were quite steep but it is an old cottage so they are part of the charm and we got used them.
