Positive: Great place with comfortable beds, quick walk into town and the added bonus of parking. We didn’t cook but looked like it had everything ypu needed to be comfortable doing just that. Beds were super comfy!

Positive: That there was a garage. The mattresses were good. Location is close to the center of town, about 7 minutes walking.

Negative: The check-in was very chaotic. We had received the instructions on how and where to pickup the keys. As we arrived at the apartment, it turned out the keys were not inside the key locker. The remote control for the barrier was in there. Which according to the instructions should have been inside on the table. It seemed someone was in the apartment. As I did not know who it was, I walked down outside. Where I saw a very lovely neighbour, who, kindly but wrongly, told me there were two ladies in our apartment. There was some confusion. However, luckily it turned out to be the cleaning lady. With some confusion we found the keys after all. The problem was made worse, because you receive a link with all important info via SMS. The link worked fine at home, but not on location. Problems with the 5G in Troyes? The first time we we drove around to get better reception. That worked, we found the check-in instructions. After check-in we wanted to get connected to the internet. Again, the link with all the information did not work. I spent an hour walking around in the neighbourhood, looking for a better connection. I even went to a McDonalds for the free WiFi. Whatever I did, the link did not work. I contacted the host via WhatsApp, who responded relatively swiftly, providing me with the login instructions for the WiFi. It was all not dramatic, but after a long journey one hopes for a more smooth check-in and settling in. The pillows, the duvet and the duvet- and matras-cover were all made of synthetic fibers. As we were there during warm weather, they were very hot. It would have been much more bearable if it would have been natural fibers (cotton). The shower curtain was very dirty (the lower end). Probably lime residu. It would be great if there would be at least 1 full toilet roll on arrival. The apartment is very hot. Only one fan present, although there are two bedrooms. The garage, although private, meaning for one car, can not be locked.

Summary: It was fine, as it was for us only for one night. However, for the money, I have seen better.
