Positive: What a lovely couple, the apartment they make so it welcomes you. I needed a rest and I truly found it there. Not a thing I could find wrong. Just the perfect hideaway

Negative: I don’t like that if this great place gets to booked because it’s so nice I will not find a reservation

Positive: We loved both the warm welcome and wave off by the owners. They left us some wine to start off what would become a great weekend. The apartment was clean, practical and perfect for a relaxing evening after a day of excursions. We prepared dinner every night with practically new pans and cutlery. We enjoyed breakfast/coffee on the patio every morning. The garden is a dream, even though we were busy doing activities around Valkenburg. The location is ideal as a starting point for day trips to castles, small pitoresque villages, wineries, the Drielandenpunt and cave biking. They also had a shelter to store our bicycles.

Positive: Willem was very helpful and organised a great restaurant for us when we arrived a little later than expected. The appartment was in a great location for us and surpassed our expectations.

Negative: Nothing.

Positive: We particularly liked the gas fire place and the comfy bed. So gorgeous to come home all frozen from the xmas-parade and then just switch on the fire place like you'd switch on a TV. Heaven! Very friendly hosts, too; we felt very welcome. It's also great to have a fully equipped kitchen if you don't want to eat out 3x a day...

Summary: If you'd like a spacious, cozy, quiet, clean and modern place for two, this is it.

Positive: This beautifully appointed apartment is amongst the best we’ve stayed in during 30 years of European travel. The lovely hosts were extremely helpful and we had some excellent restaurant meals based on their recommendations. The apartment’s many amenities such as a quality big screen television, dishwasher, excellent shower, comfortable bed and even an air fryer, made for a very comfortable stay. The outdoor patio facing the huge park-like garden was terrific for alfresco meals and drinks both mornings and evenings. All of this together with easy parking in the yard and an excellent location for walking to the beautiful town centre or the railway station for the short trip to Maastricht made this an exceptional place to stay.

Negative: Everything was excellent.
