Positive: Beautiful and big appartement with new and comfortable furniture. Kitchen with dishwasher. Air conditioning is available in the appartement. There also is a nice roof terasse.

Positive: Beautifully designed and with a lovely terrace. Place was immaculate. Perfect location to explore the area. Everything walkable. Perfect for a family of four including two teenagers. . Very comfy beds. Free parking opposite the apartment but not connected to the apartment.

Negative: We were not given the name of the apartment so it took a while getting into the building as had to try every lock until we managed to open it! Although there is Air con in the lounge area, would be helpful to have it in bedrooms too as can get quite noisy with windows open. Would like a bigger chopping board!

Positive: Located in a nice quiet residential area which had free parking just across the road which meant we didn’t need to move the car for the 3 days we were staying there. Just a 15 minute walk into the main centre where plenty of restaurants and bars are located near to the train station. The apartment was modern, newly renovated and spotlessly clean, good shower, kitchen very well equipped and generally the apartment offers a feeling of being light and airy, but window shutters provided privacy at night. The apartment had a little balcony at the front and the rooftop terrace at the back offered a great place to sit outside after a day exploring the city and artwork. Remote prior contact with host was good to obtain access codes for entry to the apartment.

Negative: Nothing - we enjoyed every minute. Unfortunately, on our last day, we discovered that a laundry room was available to use - our fault as we didn’t fully read the apartment booklet provided.

Summary: An excellent place to stay - and would fully recommend

Positive: We had a very comfortable stay in a charming and cosy atmosphere in the heart of Angouleme. Julie is a very attentive host with precious recommendations on where to eat and what to visit

Negative: I would suggest more hangers, and a floor mat and towels hooks near the shower in the bathroom.
