Positive: I loved having a breakfast on the balcony looking out over the valley and the sea. Felt immediately at home in this apartment. There's lots to do on the doorstep if you like hiking and nature, but it's also a great place to just relax and hang out. A few buses a day run between Castellar and Menton and there's a regular train service along the coast, so you don't need a car to get around. Alain and Bernard are very kind, generous hosts. I hope to stay again.

Positive: What an amzing apartment with a wonderful view from the terrace. You walk a few steps down and think you are in heaven with the valley and nature outside and a complete modern equiped two room-aparment. The sliding doors of glas gives you a magneficant view from the inside. You have a combined livingroom and kitchen. And a separate bedroom with a supercomfortable bed and a lot of space for your clothes. The bathroom is also complete modern. We have never had such a luxery apartment in our lives travelling around Europe. The owner also gave us a lot of useful information (by texting) about the little village Castellar, what to do and where to eat.

Negative: Just to know: There is a very familar cat walking around ouside in the garden. If you don´t close the sliding doors he is very quick to step inside. But no problem if you just close the doors. And he is very quit and beging for food :)
