Positive: The owner was very friendly & attentive to our needs. She was quick to reply to us with any questions we had. The location was perfect and offered a great view of the mountain region! Easy parking in the driveway was a great convenience. As far as cleanliness and safety we rate this as top-notch! We highly recommend Apartment Sunela to all travelers! It's a "home away from home"!

Negative: We left with absolutely no complaints! We highly recommend this place as a spot to travel to!

Summary: Our stay was relaxing, fun and offered opportunities to take part in local highlights of the area!

Positive: Huge 900+ square foot flat with wonderful views from every window and balcony. Squeaky clean. Very friendly staff. Great underground parking. Safe and secure. Close to grocery store and several excellent restaurants.

Negative: Very little not to like. I wasn’t a fan of the bedding - basically a sheet-covered comforter that was a little short for my 6’2” frame. No kitchen towels of any kind.

Summary: Felt at home in this large modern apartment with amazing views.

Positive: We had the pleasure of staying for several days at the most charming apartment hotel in the Dolomites. We booked three different rooms, and each one was spacious, spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, with everything we could possibly need. All of the rooms were filled with natural light and offered breathtaking views that we simply couldn’t get enough of. Renate was wonderfully attentive and kind, and the entire staff was welcoming, helpful, and professional. The hotel also provides a private parking lot for guests and a magical garden facing the stunning scenery. We warmly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area – whether couples or families. It’s truly a hotel that’s hard to leave.

Positive: Location is excellent. Close to a few good trails in Dolomites. Property is in the heart of dolomites, still a little bit away from the main town. That makes it ideal for really getting a good feel of the mountains. Facilities within apartment are really good.

Positive: Val Gardena Guest cards: Totally invaluable!! We used them to go to Passo Gardena, Zenserhutte, Toblach, and even Brenner on our way back to Munich. The apartment is huge and beautiful, with kitchen, bath and bedroom. The kitchen has most cooking utensils and EVEN salt and pepper!! The view outside the window is gorgeous. Cloth line on the porch. Plenty of toiletries. There is a hiking trail between the apartment and Juac Refugio. And the hike is through a shady forest with view of mountains, pastures, and lots of sculptures and interpretive signs of wildlife. If you hike on Seceda ridge, you can buy a one-way cable car ticket and walk down to Refugio Firenze, Juac then back to the apartment. This will not only save 10 euros (one way is 20 euros; round trip is 30), you can also have more enjoyment.

Negative: The apartment is a bit far from the valley (Selva Plaza Nives) and is 200' higher. Following google map, I slogged a long way with my luggage uphill in the hot sun. Later the apartment manager told us there was a shortcut which does not only save on the distance, but also eliminates unnecessary climbing. High prices at Supermarket Valgardena Center on Str. Puez. The DESPAR store on Str. Meisules is a bit better. Many of the Suedtirol mobil bus drivers are uncaring and some times ignore the stop requests. You are supposed to watch the monitor for the next stop. However, often the display has a latency so some stops are only displayed for a split of a second, causing you to miss the stop.

Positive: The manager Renate is very friendly and professional, always in touch and ready to help. Fantastic view and location, ideal size of all rooms, full equipment, including Nespresso coffee machine and even capsules, good quality of equipment and furniture. And very important - apartment is very clean, they have very good room service
