Negative: The room lacks curtains, which makes it difficult to get a deep sleep, and the towels had a slight odor after just one use. Additionally, the toiletries were very limited as only hand soap was provided, and the shower is quite small with a skylight that cannot be opened for ventilation.

Positive: I stayed at Apartment Ulrich alone, but the apartment was easily big enough for a larger group — it had two separate rooms and plenty of space. The beds were very comfortable, there was a well-equipped kitchenette, and a clean, modern bathroom with a good shower. The absolute highlight, and a real game changer, was the sauna. After a cold winter day it was perfect. In January 2026 it cost 450 CZK. The apartment was very clean, warm, and well maintained. The owner was friendly, helpful, and easy to contact, which made the stay even more pleasant. Great location close to ski slopes and winter activities. Highly recommended.

Negative: * Wi-Fi was included and free, which was convenient, although the connection was not the strongest. * Due to icy conditions, I had to leave my car on a parking area about 200 meters below the apartment and walk up. Honestly, it turned into a nice morning warm-up.

Positive: Good place. For a demanding person some pieces of furniture might seem old but the room has everything you need. A place worth to recommend for mountain hikers. Just on a trail to low mountains and close to walking trails to high parts of Krkonoše mountains.

Positive: Very nice garden, with a covered seating area. Most of the time we were alone in the house, so we could always have breakfast outside, but when all the apartments are occupied, it might be busy. Private parking spot. Pool will be nice in summer, was not open in may. Dogs are allowed. Beds were comfortable.

Negative: The water was brown, we told the owner and he checked it, but he said it wasn’t true and we could drink it. It really smelled bad, so we didn’t drink it. It smelled like metal, also your hands after washing them. Later I filmed the brown water and showed it to the owner, after he saw it, he said he couldn’t do anything about it. The boiler in the kitchen didn’t work all the time. Although we had a private sauna, you can’t switch it on by yourself, you always have to call the owner. We stayed a week, after using it 2 times, we were so annoyed to ask it again that we didn’t use it anymore. It also costs quite a lot, 15 euro’s for 1 hour. The owner drinks a lot of alcohol, parts of the day you can’t talk clearly with him and the day after he doesn’t remember what you talked about. Only 1 large and 1 small towel per persons for 1 week, in my opinion that’s not enough. The days the other apartments were occupied it was noisy.

Positive: Roomy apartment, kitchen equipment all available, cleaning was done well, price was great for what was offered. Having a private balcony in our case was a great extra.

Negative: A separate standing shower instead of a shower head in a bathtub would be nice. Also, the friendly man that welcomed us spoke just a few words German, the rest was Czech and thus hard to understand.
