Positive: The location was very good, providing access to downtown Thun on foot. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. We appreciated the large kitchen and common area, as well as the views of the surrounding mountains.

Negative: The area is a bit industrial, being situated next to the train tracks, but we didn't hear the trains at all and it was still quite comfortable.

Positive: We did really enjoy this property for our family of 5. Having a full kitchen helped make meals easier and we didn’t feel crowded in this spacious apartment.

Negative: Being right next the train tracks makes it loud if windows are open. The apartment was warm without AC, but wasn’t terrible considering the very high outside temperatures while we were there.

Summary: Spacious and accessible apartment in a lovely town.

Positive: Apartment is huge and well appointed - doesn't really want for anything. After a few weeks of travelling the washer and dryer were a real bonus. The location is great with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

Negative: The apartment overlooks a railyard; however the double-glazed windows block the noise from the trains which was great. Air conditioning or a fan in each room would have been helpful so we could have kept the windows shut (and the train noise out) on a hot night.

Positive: Great balcony, very friendly and helpful staff

Negative: Some missing items: electric kettle (provided upon request), toaster, more plates/bowls/silverware needed, a large frying pan (provided upon request). We were only given one dish towel. The apartment can get quite warm in the summer. We had to buy our own detergent for the washing machine. There should be a proper coffee table for the couch. The TV is old and did not come with a HDMI cable for hooking up our own devices (nor did the reception have a cable for us).

Summary: We had a lovely and comfortable stay! Great accommodation but somewhat overpriced.
