The apartment is situated in a gated development “Residenza Borgo Fiorito” just off the main coastal road ideally located for exploring this beautiful and unspoilt part of Italy. The complex is thoughtfully designed and is comprised of 15 villas and 24 Apartments . The shared swimming pool is surrounded by olive trees, illuminated at night; it has a sea view from the terraces and barbecue area. Plenty of parking on site. The apartment itself is large enough to accommodate a family of 4 (5), with a double bed, a large sofa bed and a daytime bed (suitable for children up to 5 years old) complete with good quality mattresses. It has a large balcony with outside furniture ideal for “alfresco dining” or simply enjoying the spectacular 180 °C panoramic sea views. From sunrise to sunset the magnificent views will accompany you through your perfect day.
The apartment offers a relaxing oasis of peace set amongst beautiful flowers and plants but you are still only just a few minutes away from the sandy beaches, restaurants, bars and bustling narrow streets of Tropea. The apartment has a fridge, gas cooker/electric oven, washing machine and all you need in the kitchen for cooking.
Zambrone town offers every amenity and has a traditional piazza, bars, pizzeria, fresh meat from the local butcher, fresh fish delivered every day. Fresh cheese is delivered straight from the dairy twice a week. It has grocers, general stores, hairdressers, pharmacy, cash point etc. It has a purpose built amphitheatre which hosts a variety of entertainment. Tropea Stands on an imposing sand stone cliff and is one of the most artistically interesting and picturesque centres in the Vibo Valencia province. There are traces of ancient prehistoric settlements, burial passages dating back to Greek and Roman times. It is one of the best preserved and most beautiful historic centres in the whole region. Tropea is brimming with bars, restaurants and pizzerias spilling out onto the cobbled streets. Soak up the atmosphere of this wonderful place while enjoying a delicious meal of fresh pasta, fresh seafood, fresh local anti pasta or a pizza straight from the traditional pizza ovens or just sit and enjoy a cup of coffee, a glass of the local wine, or one of the local liqueurs (I highly recommend the limoncello) The patisseries and ice cream are dangerously delicious. Tropea is famous for its reddish blue onions sweet and delicious and the olive oil is said to be the best in Italy. Enjoy the variety and flavour of Tropea market on Saturday mornings. Capo Vaticano. A 10 min drive out of Tropea southwards and in a moment you have access to another jewel in the Calabrian coast, with its warm crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches, and pretty coves, well known for its scuba diving and snorkelling. Pizzo A 20 min drive in the other direction heading north along the coast is Pizzo, famous for its delicious ice cream (tartuffo di Pizzo) and must be tried to be believed. It is also well known for its Sword fish and tuna fish. A drive up into the mountains to enjoy the dramatic scenery of the national park is well worth doing if you can tear yourself away from the beautiful coastline.

Summary: This property was located in a beautiful part of Southern Italy and was close to many incredible beaches and cute towns. The view from the balcony of this property was really stunning. The apartment was pretty clean and nice but small. Unfortunately, there is no wifi or cell service in that area, which made it a little challenging to use our phones. The pool was also shut down due to covid. And the water shuts off every day for a certain amount of hours and was supposed to come back on at 6pm but it would not come back on until 7:30pm or 8pm some nights, making it hard to shower from the beach to be ready for dinner. We also had problems with lizards and geckos coming into the apartment. The AC does work great and the balcony is very nice. I think the location makes it all worth it. The host was also nice. Overall it was a great vacation.

Summary: We stayed at this apartment for 8 days and i must say it was a great experince. The views was amazing and location perfect. The apartment itself is placed in a gated community with a private pool with nice surroundings. All in all very clean and tidy.Zambrone has the closest beaches just 5 min away with car...yes, you need car to be able to fully enjoy this part of italy.Tropea another 5 min away is full with resraurants and great architecture. Stromboli the vulcano is visible on a clear day from Tropea. During our stay we also visited Sicily which is just 1h drive down to Messina. So wow yes ! I would rent polinas apartment again, no doubt about it. Highly recomended 👍😄

Summary: Polina was a great owner. Kept in constant communication, even when we weren't arriving until very late. Apartment was well equipped and very comfortable with lovely views. Happy to recommend and would rent it again 😄
