Summary: We had a lovely relaxing holiday in this beautiful apartment. It was very spacious and well equipped for what we needed. The neigbourhood was very quiet and felt safe. The roof terrace was great for sunbathing and the communal pool great for cooling off in the heat. We are already talking of the possibility of visiting again next year. The property owner was extremely helpful with the booking and provided us with the information which we requested and assisted with the airport transfer.

Summary: Good location with easy acces to the beach front and local amenities. The property is beginning to show signs of ageing and is in need of some updating, but we did arrive at the end of the season, so the host may well be planning some works. The kitchen lacks an oven, which is probably no problem for a shorter stay, but for a longer stay would be a nice feature to have. Overall the property is comfortable, and the resort is good with an excellent swimming pool.

Summary: Communication with the owner Mercedes was excellent before and during our stay and also with her local contact Dafi who greeted us when we arrived in the resort and was on hand if we needed anything. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, plenty of room for our family of 4 (enough beds for 6), our daughters appreciated having their own bedrooms! The pool was great (open 10am till midnight), the roof terrace was excellent for drying clothes, hosing off excess sand after trips to the beach and admiring the views especially at sunset. Good selection of local shops and restaurants a couple of minutes walk away, a 5-10 minute stroll to the beach which was fabulous and about a mile to Garrucha (with its many bars, restaurants and Mercado supermarket) along the picturesque sea front. The kitchen had everything we needed apart from an oven but we ate out most evenings so that wasn't really an issue. A very enjoyable holiday!

Summary: A lovely roomy apartment in an urbanisation of mixed residency, maintained to a very high standard which was eminently suitable for our 2 1/2 month stay,fully equipped and ideally located for an extended stay. Plenty of authentic bars and restaurants within easy walking distance as well as clean beaches and a very pleasant walk to a genuine Spanish town Garrucha. Any and all communication was easy with a prompt reply from both the owners and her local go to lady(Dafi) The location of the apartment was ideally situated for exploration and we have all ready booked to return again.

Summary: Pros. Apartment is very spacious and is in an excellent position. It is a fantastic walk along the passeo to Garrucha, and a short bus ride or car drive to all the local towns. Mercedes responded immediately to any queries we had. Lots of towels, and bed linen (although there were no duvet covers). Lots of hot water and the massive roof terrace is an amazing sun trap. Cons. Beds were a bit uncomfortable with the springs being very noticeable. There was no hairdryer and no oven. I did know about the oven before I booked so I cannot complain, however in retrospect it was a mistake, because it limits what food you can make at home.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in Nueva Medina. Lovely apartment, great pool and surrounding area, and central to where we wanted to be. Within walking distance to the paseo, and local bars and restaurants. On the bus route. There were some issues about the TV and the WiFi, but Mercedes the owner, a lovely lady, understood our problems, and is resolved to get them sorted next year , and I look forward to seeing the changes when I stay next year.
