Summary: We had fantastic time staying at this beautiful apartment at Scopello. The place is very nice and comfortable, with parking space, the location is unbeatable (ocean view, short walk to scopello center, super market. restaurants...) and the hosts are super nice, helpful and could not do enough for us. We had rental car problem, and the hosts (Daniele & Mari) spent 6 hours contacting rental company (we do not speak Italian), getting towing service to tow the car, driving us to airport (50 minutes away) to get a new rental car. We could not image how we could handle the situation without their help. Thank you, Daniele and Mari! Thank you, Guilia (owner's daughter) for all your help on communication. Thank you, Francesco (owner) for the yummy dessert and help on wine tasting information. Thank you!

Summary: Ciao a tutti! Abbiamo avuto una vacanza bellissima! We had a most wonderful 3 weeks staying in this home. The location was perfect and the hospitality of Francesco, Maria and Daniele and family was warm and welcoming. They were happy to share information about the area and their advice was excellent. The description of the home was exact, but could not do the views or location justice. The views are stunning! The house is located within an easy walk of Scopello and all amenities. The choice and quality of restaurants is excellent. The house is located not far from several beautiful beaches. A car is necessary to travel around the area. The area is beautiful and worth touring with so many sites within an easy drive. The house is clean and well-apportioned for a family vacation. We travelled with our 2 adult children. Summary: We had a great holiday in this house in early may. The view is beautiful, you can sit comfortable outside in the sun or in the shade. The house is well equiped. For the cold evening we could use the heating. It's only a short walk to the square of Scopello were you can enjoy your drinks and meals. And of course: a wonderfull icecream. The owners are very helpfull and kind. They made a little paradise here! They take good care of this house, and that atmosphere is what you feel staying there. Scopello is a good place to stay to visit Zingaro, and the regions of Palermo and Trapani. In spring the nature is so beautifull: wild flowers everywhere. When you like authenticity: this house is the place to be!

Summary: My wife and I stayed here for a week in June of 2013. The owners were incredibly friendly and warm; they took us around town upon arrival to introduce us to all the shopkeepers and restaurant owners to make sure everyone knew we were their clients. The apartment was impeccable. It lived up to and even exceeded expectation. I will go back one day for sure. You'll need a car, but Francesco was honest about that from the minute I first got in touch with him, so we rented one from the airport in Palermo instead of trying to get to Scopello by public transit... you definitely will want to do the same, as the beaches and the market are all a little drive away. It's right next to the town, and we'd often walk the in the evening to have a stroll and an ice cream. The whole experience was utterly charming and relaxing. I never write reviews like this, but I'm doing it, because this place is special and they were amazing hosts who truly cared. They even brought us some cannoli from a famous pastry shop in Palermo when they came to pick up the keys and return the deposit.

Summary: "For those who have never been to Sicily there are at least three wonderful surprises waiting if you choose to stay near the charming village of Scopello: 1) the island itself, a paradise that will stun even the most traveled cynic, 2) the wonderful apartment Villa Lidia with a fabulous vista overlooking the sea, and 3) getting to meet the owners and their families. We lived in the apartment for two incredible weeks and never left western Sicily. It has all the amenities for a couple or a family with children. It is clean, well-appointed and delightfully landscaped. The owners are extremely helpful and will acquaint you with the apartment, the village and the surrounding area upon arrival. We traveled easily to Segesta, Selinunte, Mozia, Marsala, Trapani, Palermo, Castellammare del Golfo, Erice and the Riserva dello Zingaro. Some of the best times were spent just sitting on the porch or on the rooftop terrace with a glass of wine. We can''t wait to return."
