Positive: Nice location near river, with river views from balcony on 4th floor. The balcony is a lovely place to sit and the facade gets lots of sun in the middle of the day. There are good little food shops literally a stones throw away, which have most basics despite their small size. The flat feels all new and is well equipped, and spotlessly clean. The rooms are big, and the kitchen space is a "proper kitchen" with full stove and oven. Very comfortable big bed. Good heating. Lovely big shower. Just what I needed as a base to visit nearby friends whose flat was too small to host me. Obviously this is not the best base if you want to be close to the city centre. On the other hand there are lovely walks along the river. I did not use the underground parking, but as this comes with the flat, it would be ideal for car owners. I would come again if revisiting this area.

Negative: In the evenings I could often hear a lot of footsteps clomping about in the flat above me, despite the building being solid. This is just how it is in flats I suppose, at least if people don't take their shoes off. I never heard any music or other people's TVs though. It would not put me off coming again. Would be nice to have a dish towel to dry the washing up. I had trouble getting the washing machine to work. It just beeped. Probably I did something wrong but as there were no instructions I couldn't figure it out and it was too late at night to want to contact the host (though I could have done if I had wanted to - he was very responsive for other questions I had). So maybe leave instructions that are idiot proof.
