Summary: It was a nice stay. The area is quiet and peaceful. It’s close to the city center and the highway. Parking is onsite and secure.

Summary: We were a group of 2 couples who stayed for 4 nights in one of the 2 bedroom apartments at Vila Minka, and could not have been more pleased with our stay. Our host Nina was in contact with us before our arrival with pertinent details, and provide a warm welcome when we finally arrived after a long drive from Split. The apartment was perfect for our needs, very comfortable, and well stocked or cooking our own meals. The hotel location was great for doing day trips to Lake Bled and the Postojna Caves, and close enough to the Ljubljana old town to walk, and a short Uber ride. The is also a large grocery store nearby. The housekeeper was a gem (sorry can’t remember her name), and was always offering to assist us. If you are staying in Ljubljana, I would highly recommend the Aparthotel Vila Minka. A huge thank you also to Nina for all of her tour advice, and for letting us use her phone when we had serious issues with our rental car.

Summary: This property is located outside of the city center in a quiet neighborhood with a few local restaurants within walking distance. The Vila is within 2 blocks of a bus stop which makes travel to the city center very easy and you pay by card on the bus. Upon arrival, you are greeted with a small refreshment and dessert item. The Vila is a lovely set up with modern rooms and charming furniture. I was so pleased with my selection and highly recommend this location for a stay in Ljubljana!

Summary: The room was nice and clean; the owner seemed a little put out at first because Expedia had overbooked us and she didn’t seem to happy. When we asked her about coffee in the morning she looked at us like we’d lost our mind! It all turned out fine and she had coffee for us in the morning for a small charge. The hotel is beautiful and I wonder what the spa services would be like. We weren’t given any options to utilize them.

Summary: This was a last minute reservation (made through Expedia) for only one night as we arrived in Ljubljana a day early for a hospitality industry conference. Nina (the co- owner) greeted us and took the time to explain (and make suggestions) the hotel and the area. The property is beautiful, the rooms/apartments are clean and well equipped. I would be happy to return for a longer stay.
