Positive: Perfect position across the road from beach.

Negative: Appartement 1- Beds uncomfortable, cannot put chairs on balcony as the shutters don’t open fully. It’s a bit tired . Needs some maintenance . Suggest also putting in 2 beach chairs and beach towels.

Summary: Wonderful position . Next time we will book the penthouse so that we have a full balcony.

Positive: Apart from the magnificent terrace view and its location rihht at the beach boulevard, this apartment made me feel ‘home away from home’. Which doesn’t happen that often when you’re abroad.

Positive: Beautiful view, located right in the middle of the old town. Check In was easy. Kitchen is fully equipped, just no real coffee machine, only a Nespresso. Great apartment for a relaxing weekend.

Negative: No actual coffee machine, just a Nespresso tab machine...

Positive: The location of the apartment is absolutely spectacular—close to the sea and within walking distance to all the vibrant local spots. Waking up with the sea view from the balcony is just amazing! The apartment is small but functional, equipped with a fridge, induction cooktop, and microwave. Everything is very convenient.

Negative: The bathroom is small, and only one pair of towels per person was provided. There was only hand soap available. The entrance to the apartment is through a restaurant, which made it a bit awkward when coming in or out.

Positive: Sitges is a great choice to stay outside of Barcelona. The village has its own charm, great restaurants, bakeries and shops, and is an easy and beautiful 45-min train ride from Sants station. Mare Nostrum is right across the street from a gorgeous beach. Our apartment did not face the sea, but it is easy to imagine that the units with ocean view are fabulous. Our host, Carol, was very sweet and helpful, and always available - if not downstairs (in their restaurant), then by phone or messaging. We would stay at Mare Nostrum again when we return to Barcelona.

Negative: We choose apartments so we can cook our own meals. The kitchen was a bit small and sparely equipped for our interests, but we got by. Be aware there is no lift. This was not an issue for us.

Summary: Good value, great location on the beach in a charming village, an easy commute into Barcelona.
