Positive: ofc the rooftop terrace is a big plus with the lovely view and sunset. Maro is just a nice place. the flat is fine: gives you the basics for a nice stay outside definite downside is the lack of any soundproofing in the apartments - you hear all the neighbours literally cough (and worse).

Negative: hearing your neighbours do literally everything also the living room couch is terrible to sit on.

Positive: The nice freshly renovated terrace with outside furniture, sun beds and a brand new small pool exceeded my expectations - gorgeous views to the sea and mountains. I liked the perfect location of the appartment - 1 min. to the food shop - the main thing that you need in such a small town :) The shop was open even on Sunday - that was useful. The host was helpful in arranging the airport shuttle. The beaches in Maro are perfect for the nature and peace lovers.

Positive: Lovely property. Situated right in the heart of the little town of Maro. The appartment was well equipped with a full kitchenette. Beach towels were provided for the lovely beach, where a bus stop right near the appartment takes you down to Playa de Maro for €1.50 return. The pool was small, but refreshing and is a nice touch to the property to cool yourself after a hot summer’s day.

Negative: The only complaint I have is about the thin walls, you can hear your neighbours quite clearly. Also, the buses between Maro and Nerja are not always on schedule and run about ever 1-2 hours which is quite rare. Other than this, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Summary: A comfortable stay at a lovely apartment in a wonderfully quiet town.
