Positive: Very friendly female receptionist - Lovely view from our room of Marina which was very much appreciated.. Good breakfast. Indoor pool and steam room enjoyable which wasn't there last time I visited. I would return.

Negative: Noisy from Friday night in Faro which carries even on the top floor so to be mindful. Body cream would be expected for Hotel of this calibre!. Check out queue was long in a cramped Reception so be aware if you have a bus t9 catch ( as we did)

Positive: Helpful and friendly staff at reception, restaurant and bar. I mentioned we were celebrating my Mum's birthday and they gave her a slice of cake and prosecco which was very thoughtful, thank you.

Negative: The reception area set up is quite awkward and fills up quickly, staff do their best to keep the queue moving. The bar was cold as the heating wasn't working, even the bar tender was shivering, we all had our coats on.

Positive: Perfect location, overlooking the harbour and 2 minutes from the shops and restaurants. Had great views from the restaurant where breakfast is served and all staff were friendly. The indoor pool was cold but lovely, with a view over the harbour.

Negative: We had a city facing room, with a balcony overlooking the bus stop and main road which was very busy. The sliding doors were not sound proof so we could hear car alarms and people talking throughout the night. The harbour side is probably quieter. The indoor pool does not open until 10am and swimming hats are required.
