Our lovingly restored half-timbered house, under the guidance of the protection of historical monuments, is only 7 km away from Wiesbaden. In our 700-soul village, it is calm and relaxing; by bus or car, however, you are also quickly in the Hessian capital with its newly built Rhein-Main-Hallen, the casino, hot springs and thermal baths. Enjoy the idyll in the garden and relax on the terrace in summer, use the barbecue or take a walk through the nearby orchards and forests.

Summary: This property is quaint, cozy and full of history. Nicely located not far from central Wiesbaden, just a short walk from a wonderful local German restaurant, and with an Aldi grocery store just a short drive away. Parking is located on the street just outside the front door. And the updated main bathroom is a big plus. Regina, who live across the street, is a perfect host with a great command of the English language so she was extremely helpful with directions and recommendations. Plus, you can't beat the value! The only thing we called to her attention at the end of our stay was the quality of the bath towels which she took note of.

Summary: Beautifully restored to keep the old world charm but with modern amenities. I will come back. I enjoyed it that much and Regina is a wonderful hostess.
