Summary: Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) spent three nights here and were in general satisfied with our stay. The strengths: - service is fantastic, we showed up hours before the official check in time and the manager moved mountains to help us settle ASAP (I guess they saw how tired our kids are :D), they created a whole website for first-time visitors with a bunch of recommendations (this is how we discovered the earthquake museum which wasn't on our original itinerary but we ended up loving it!) - location is great - brilliant hygiene products: super fluffy towels (plenty!) and cute solid soap+shampoo boxes - the doors open with a code, so no need to carry keys/cards/etc. - the building has a book collection so one can use the Lisbon travel books just from the common shelves - the vibe of the apartment is just lovely. Room for improvement: the apartment was very minimally equipped, e.g. - the kitchen has exactly 4 mugs, 4 plates, etc. so one needs to do the dishes often - we didn't get sheets for the sofa bed (ended up using a blanket) and there are only two big blankets for 4 people (which was fine for the adults but not so practical for the kids)

Summary: We had a wonderful time at Antiga Casa Pessoa. We came in July, so it was a little hot, but the staff made a real effort to make it enjoyable and comfortable. They were also kind whenever we needed anything. The location was perfect, with easy access to entertainment, restaurants, and so much more.

Summary: The photos for this listing might seem too good to be true, but the real-life property is every bit as magical as advertised — inside and out, Antiga Casa Pessoa teems with old world charm, and its modern updates (e.g., renovated kitchens and bathrooms) are thoughtful and minimalist, adding comfort but not clashing with the historic details. Similarly, the thick walls and the (impressively functional) double-pane windows result in perfect tranquility. And fyi, the small plaza outside generates a perfect amount of noise — rarely disruptive, but also not so quiet that you feel isolated. Everything else — location, communication, advice for local services, and the availability of early check-in when feasible — makes this a true Lisbon gem.
