Positive: We are an American couple traveling in Italy for two months and are staying in a lot of apartments as we travel around Northern Italy. Vercelli is amazing and this apartment is right in the middle of the old town just steps away from the main square but on a very quiet small street. Francesco is the amazing host, and he owns 7 apartments in the old town and 3 of them are in the building I was in. They are brand new and fully renovated in a centuries-old and very impressive palace. The apartment we were in was great - everything brand new and extremely well done. Super-fast Wi-Fi. New AC that you have control of (not always the case in Italy in the Spring). Great TV in the bedroom and living room for streaming. New soundproof windows. New comfy big bed. Tons of storage space and a great kitchen with top-end espresso and coffee machine. Our apartment had a loft with the bedroom up a short spiral staircase, but we like that separation. Very comfortable. Francesco even picked us up at the train station and helped with our bags (both ways).

Negative: Everything was great.

Positive: Very clean, comfortable, and well designed apartment. Perfect for one or 2 people. It is small but the space is so well designed that it feels quite roomy. The location is exceptional - right in the centre and close to the amazing Vercelli market, museums, shops, etc. Functional kitchen, laundry facilities. The windows are right on the street but when closed it is very quiet and very private with the shutters closed. Interior lighting galore to offset the darkness when shutters are closed. The host was super helpful and responsive. They kindly offered to pick me up from the train station, which I did not need but would be very helpful to those arriving by train. I drove and there is no parking right by the apartment but there is plenty of free street parking in Vercelli within minutes of the apartment.

Positive: The appartment is in the middle of the old center of Vercelli. The cosy appertment is situated in a quite street and has just been renovated. The owner was very friendly and ready to help out with tips for restaurants, places to visit. Breakfast can be taken at different places in town - I was at the pasteccieria Mongini - a very traditional and nice to place.
