Positive: The lady who met us was lovely and friendly. She made sure we had clean sheets and the room was all ready. We were able to park our car securely. Nice position to see the sea from our balcony or a 2 minutes walk. Sari sari stores nearby. Good internet and tv. Air-conditioning was good. Bathroom good but water accumulated but was not a big deal.
Negative: The recommend restaurant is not very good. Food choice is limited so advice eating before arrival. Breakfast was 4 eggs and bread rolls which for the room price was good.
Summary: Nice place by the sea.

Positive: The staff is very kind and helpful. I arrived late because my bus was delayed, but it was no problem, even though I had not been able to contact them.
Negative: When I knew I would arrive late, I tried to contact the owner through Booking.com, by SMS and by calling several times. I was entirely unable to reach him. I then got a reply 2 days later! So communication with the property is difficult.

Positive: Breakfast was good. The room was spacious (we were given an upgrade by the way, thanks booking.com), clean, and comfortable. The room also had a balcony view facing the beach. Annis's beach house is a great place for families, as you can cook your own food (should you wish), and the place is near a fish port where fresh fish can be bought at relatively cheap prices. There is also an opportunity to rent a boat and tour around two sand bars and a cave. All in all, it was a great adventure for me.
Negative: The beach near the house was not particularly clean. We saw jellyfish swimming around and did not feel safe swimming there. Best you rent a boat and swim at the sandbar where the water is cool and clear. Just watch out for the spiky sea urchins!

Positive: The room was very clean and comfortable. My host was very friendly and accommodating to my needs. They served me a nice breakfast and provided me with fresh water to drink.
Negative: It is a little far from any food to purchase, though there is one good restaurant very close by. One upgrade would be a hot shower but for the price I did not expect this. Most hotels and accommodations in the Philippines do not provide hot showers unless one pays a much higher price.

Positive: Anni's is rustic but very comfortable. We enjoyed the air-conditioning, the decorating, and the large room. We loved being so close to the sea. We didn't swim or snorkel because we were not there for long enough, but apparently the corals at nearby islands are amazing. Anni's is in the middle of a tiny fishing village, where the locals were incredibly friendly and helpful. We enjoyed joining the nearby church on Sunday.
