Positive: Cornish scones, jam and clotted cream on arrival!! Closely followed by the peace and quiet at the property, but with close access to Falmouth, Truro and individual attractions.

Negative: The weather!! (Thanks to the remnants of Storm Erin, or whatever name they gave it.)

Positive: The hosts were very welcome and received us in person on arrival. They kindly provided some traditional scones, jam and Cornish cream for us which it was delicious. The house was very clean and all essentials provided. The garden was a plus where we spend most of our evenings. I would return and do recommend staying at Anneth Lowen.

Positive: It was quiet,clean,roomy and very comfortable-truly home from home. The owner (Mary) was lovely and friendly.

Negative: The fact that I booked through booking.com,the threatening emails about cancelling this booking (plus another I booked for a night on the way home) regarding “false credit card information”,when I never used 1 to begin with and paid 100% upfront were completely unnecessary and stressful.

Summary: Had a great 4 days. I’d always check availability if I’m heading back to Cornwall.
