Positive: Great location just off central New Mills. Local shops, pubs, takeaways and cafes very close by. Behind the property is easy access to lovely walks along the river. The cottage itself is immaculate, super clean, beautifully decorated too. Good heating for the chillier evenings, plenty of hot water. The beds are very comfortable. Bedrooms are on the small side, but then it IS a cottage! Lovely bed linen and towels. Helpful and communicative owner. Parking is easy, on the front of the middle level.

Negative: There isn't a dishwasher - not a big problem but is the only suggestion we have to enhance the cottage!

Summary: Beautiful cottage, very comfortable.

Positive: The house is spotless and very nicely decorated. Very well equipped for short or long stays. Ideally located just off a main street but also next to a lovely walk down by the river. Most of the well known peak district must see places are within a 30 min drive. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
