Positive: Well everything and more. This is a grand heritage property. Andrew is probably the best host I have seen in Australia and we have stayed in quite a few upscale places in this beautiful country. Andrew took care of arranging a Bar B Q for us, did the house and garden tour and went beyond to make sure that we feel at home. the breakfast provided was delicious. The house itself is lavish. I wish I could stay for few more days there. Anlaby station is an experience.. What Andrew has done with Anlaby station ad it's ressurection to it's glorious past it's a great story to be told. Positive: The breakfast provisions were most generous and suited our usual light breakfast routine. The kitchen was warm and totally well equipped. We really enjoyed the dinner on the Friday night, appealing and scrumptious! The bed was so comfortable and warm, in fact the whole house was beautifully warm, and super quiet. We were delighted to meet hosts Andrew and Peter, and look forward to a return visit to Anlaby.

Negative: We could not think of one thing that could be improved upon, so much thought and action had gone into makng our stay the best possible. (We missed the English breakfast tea bags (oversight))!

Summary: Fantastic experience, our stay, the food, and the chance to appreciate the history of the property.
