Positive: Beautiful venue and great staff

Negative: The menu stated chicken sausages- but we were advised they didn’t have any and no replacement was offered. We were charged extra for bacon. The breakfast portions are small. In this picture the baked beans portion was for two people We were advised that the property accepted Mastercard- the booking was secured with Mastercard; this was not the case and could have been embarrassing as we did not have the correct amount in cash. Fortunately, we had a visa card

Positive: Serene environment and very well kept. Easy to take walks along the beach

Negative: The polluted river Ankobra flows directly into the sea beside the resort. Makes the sea not attractive for swimming especially during low tides

Positive: The location is outstanding right on a fabulous sandy beach which staff cleaned everyday. We enjoyed walks around the area and the food was excellent.

Negative: I would have loved a reading light next to the bed and a slightly softer mattress. However both minor matters

Positive: The location is absolutely wonderful. Directly at the beach surrounded by nature and a beautiful garden. The food was delicious to and the massage relaxing! It is another 3 hours away by car from Cape Coast. The room was fantastic, even with AC. We really loved our stay there.

Negative: The restaurant staff (all the ladies) seemed to bre not very motivated. This was not the case for Thomas and the recepionists, they were very friendly and super kind!

Summary: We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend it!

Positive: Serene, welcoming, kind, authentic, excellent! They don’t accept individual tips and they keep the resort free of cash. But you make a big tip when you check out and everyone get a share from that. They are big on caring, good service and solidarity.

Negative: The place could use som bathroom maintenance but fully understandable that spending has to be aligned with earnings in these years in Ghana. The beautiful, cosy and comfortable cottages more than made of for the need of maintenance.

Positive: A wonderful complete dreamy hidden gem. Quiet serene beach (rough waves though) and the staff were just gorgeous too. Rooms were quite basic, but had a/c, hot showers and were clean. The grounds are just stunning too!

Negative: Not much! It’s far from the town and the waves are rough, so if those are priorities this place isn’t for you. But for me it was perfect!
