Positive: Beautiful location, the unit itself is lovely and extremely comfortable. A little bit of luxury in the trees ☺️ the hosts are extremely lovely accommodating and wanted to help. The included breakfast was just so thoughtful and a lovely touch.
Negative: Only minor start up issues, noise can get into the unit fairly easily, and you just need to be mindful of the shower and kitchen sink- if you’re not careful when you turn them on, you can end up in a little bit of water 😉 we just needed to make sure we aimed each in a direction so that they wouldn’t flood the areas. Only minor issues that are easily overlooked with how lovely the property is.

Positive: Our hosts were so welcoming and available to chat and share information about their community and places to see! We arrived earlier than we anticipated and were immediately welcomed by Clare and Keith. We were given a tour of our 2 bedroom villa, which was immaculate, bright, and spacious for our family of 4. The 2 bedrooms each had own access to the balcony, comfortable queens beds, with a toilet/shower off each room. The full front balcony looked over amazing vegetation and provided privacy as well. Thoughtfully provided were cereals, bread, cheese, crackers, milk, jam, butter, coffee and tea. Access to a barbecue was also available for our family to enjoy a meal together with many outside common areas to eat together. Infinity swimming pool with sitting area to enjoy morning coffee in the sun, lounging area with full recliners and a place to put your feet in the sand as well as a patio table. Secluded driveway leading to the property with room to park right near our villa. Stairs take you up to your villa and to other areas. We chose Angsangha as we saw that it was on the outskirts of Airlie Beach but close enough for our Whitehaven snorkeling adventure and quick drive into town to shop and eat. We originally booked 2 nights but checked to see if we could stay 1 more night and Clare was happy to share that there was availability for us! We would highly recommend staying at Angsangha to all our family and friends and hope to return one day to stay again! Home away from our Canadian home!

Positive: Claire and Keith are exceptional hosts (and people). Angsangha is a serene oasis. The location is far enough away from the Airlie Beach busy vibe. Just a short drive into Airlie Beach and short distance to services. Claire went above and beyond to help us find a doggie sitter (sooooo helpful 💛). Nothing was too hard for Claire and Keith. Our dog Wilbur, didn’t want to leave 🤣
Negative: A bit of a challenge to wash dishes 😎

Positive: What a beautiful property, nestled in the hill surrounded by the well maintained gardens. Yet only 5 mins away from the local amenities. The host was so friendly and all the little extras in the property added a personal touch. The property was clean and very well maintained. A real gem !! Thank you for a memorable stay, we will be back

Positive: Clare catered for the kids and the adults with breakfast foods for the kids and some popcorn to keep them happy while we did our thing, some dip and biscuits for us. Showed us around the property and gave thoughtful ideas of activities. Loved the open living and being able to have our own little sanctuary. Lush plants/rainforest. Very well priced. No noise! Close to shops. Bed was comfy soft. Very clean. Coffee pod machine.
Negative: Heated pool was too cold. Little further out of Airlie than I would have liked but the tranquility of the place made it worth the stay. Owners live on premises- disclosed in description of stay.
Summary: Lush rainforest retreat!
