Summary: It was small but very nice. Loved the screened in patio. I do think the bathroom needed a pole in it to hang cloths. There was nowhere we could go with our things except to leave them in our bags.

Summary: After traveling on business for many years and staying in all the Marriott's and Hilton's, it's really a pleasure to stay in an old-fashioned "motor inn" where not everything is perfect, but you feel good just about the place because it's so homey. That's what we loved about Angler's Inn, a quaint, small inn directly on the water in Matlacha. We had a nice little kitchen, a great bed, and a screened-in porch. We did spend a lot of time out on the dock waving as the boats drifted by. We walked to a great restaurant and visited some of the stores in the nice town. We'll definitely re-visit Matlacha and stay at Angler's Inn.

Summary: We stayed there for our 42nd anniversary. It was the perfect spot. Even though it’s only a 45 minute drive from our house, we felt like we were a million miles away. Beautiful water. Friendly people. Within walking distance of restaurants and shops. We will definitely return.
