Positive: The house is two-storey, walking distance to the Karuizawa train station and outlet mall. Also well connected to food places and convenience stores even if you don’t drive. The house itself is very spacious with lots of rooms/beds and has a washing machine, cutlery etc. The pictures don’t do this place enough justice, highly recommended!

Negative: There’s only one toilet so washing might take some time, also take note of stairs if you have heavy luggage.

Positive: Spotlessly clean. Very spacious and comfortable. Able to accommodate small to large family. There’s a little garden right opposite. Very convenient near family mart and with only 3-4 min walk to Karuizawa Station.

Positive: The apartment is very spacious and clean. Provided with all the necessary kitchen utensils and electrical appliances. Location is excellent. Just walking distance from JR Sinkansen, local subway station and bus terminal too.

Negative: Pillows was too soft.

Positive: The location is perfect, near the station and the shopping outlets. 5 mins to Delicia, a supermarket. The kitchen was very well equipped and maintained, with all the crockery and utensils provided. Comfortable and big enough rooms. Wonderful bath. Very good washing machine and dryer. Towels and amenities were provided. Trash bags provided as well. Host was also very responsive and communicated well, from the point of giving the key code to replenishing supplies. This was a home away from home and provided a sanctuary in Karuizawa :)

Negative: Wished the pillows could be firmer and more pillows provided.
