Travel Purpose: business

Positive: We stayed here while we were visiting Verona. We had rented a car and with one, the location of this property was really good. Just a quick 20-minute ride through little roads where you see nature around you. It's also super quiet.

Negative: I have to say that the fact that the property does not have Wi fi for me is a downgrade, as nowadays you want to be connected with family and friends to share and Facetime. More importantly there's no information regarding this before you book it, this is a major lack. Besides that, would be nice to have a microwave as sometimes you just want to heat up milk quickly or food. The coffee machine was too small for 3 people staying there. Last but not least, would be nice to have some tea bags and some coffee as a welcome treat, it's always the little things that make the most difference.

Summary: Good location, quiet, but lacking on a couple of things ...

Positive: Reasonably sized apartment with modern furniture. 30 minutes away by car from Verona (on a Sunday). All in all it was OK-ish for a short visit but refer to the below box for details. Free car parking on street around the building is OK. Try to find a better value place, if you can.

Negative: Beware that communication with the host is VERY DIFFICULT and only worked on Booking's messages system (it sounded like you are in touch with a robot or with someone in India). YOU MUST USE ONLINE CHECK-IN via third party app (dubious) to get the key. We never met with or talked to the host, the published telephone number did not work, and we did not have proper internet (travelling in car) to check-in online, so it was a mess. The bedroom blinds did not work so you have full daylight in your eyes early in the morning! The sofa bed in the living room can only be used by small kids as the mechanism would not hold the weight of an adult. Luckily we didn't need it. The double bed in the bedroom is rather short (was uncomfortable for my height of 1.85m). The apartment is on the 2nd floor, facing south. Every noise from the neighboring apartments can be heard - the walls are very thin. It is uncomfortable at 6 am in the morning when your neighbors depart for work...

Summary: Apartment hosted by a robot? but ok for a (very) short trip
