Built on an old Christmas tree farm, our 25 acres has plenty of space to welcome you. Just one mile from Jackson County State ATV/Snowmobile trails with access via ATV road routes. Minutes from downtown Black River Falls, Lake Wazee Rec Park and Castle Mound.
The well-equipped cabin has 2 bedrooms on the main floor each with a queen bed. Main floor also has a full kitchen, bath, living room with full-size pullout and a screened-in porch. The upstairs loft has a separate bedroom with 2 twin beds. The lower level has an additional bedroom with a full-size bed. The full bath on the lower level also has a washer and dryer.
The attached 2 car garage can store vehicles and also has access to lower level.

ATV's can enter trails directly (no trailer needed) to the Jackson Co. trails which are a mile away via either Dodge Road (west) and Oak Ridge Road (north). Further down Dodge Road to Robinson Creek takes you to see cliffs and rushing waters. You can also kayak/canoe the creek or venture to the Black River for another option.
Black River Falls:
We are about 10 mins from downtown where you will find several restaurants and stores. Sand Creek Brewery has tours and a tasting room. More options range from Mexican to Culvers to a retro ice cream stand.

Summary: Our stay was good and the cabin was depicted appropriately. It is decorated cute The cabin is close to ATV trails. We enjoyed campfires and watching the fireflies. We kicked up several fawns. We had a couple of things that were missed by the cleaning company and the owner responded to those in a timely and appropriate manner.

Summary: The house was a great place for us to stay while in the area for a wedding (grandparents, parents & kids). The approach to the property was a bit disappointing as so many trees have been cleared, so the view isn't particularly pretty, but it is SO peaceful out there. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch our first night (love the Adirondack chairs!). Our twins really liked having their own space in the loft. The one downside is the second bath is in the unfinished basement. The bathroom is fine, other than cold due to the location. And the fourth bedroom is in the basement and can't possibly be allowed by code as there are no egress windows. So I'd consider this a three bedroom, two bathroom property. But we really enjoyed our stay and would book it again if we were in the area. (oh, the screen porch seems nice but the timing of our stay seemed to coincide with a lot of bees out and about, so we didn't get to take advantage of that space).

Summary: The five of us women-friends had a very enjoyable retreat at Jen’s house this weekend! We liked the quiet, beautiful woods setting; the open-concept, airy modern living and dining areas; the very well-equipped kitchen; comfy beds; generous bathrooms; and the peaceful, uncluttered decor. We appreciated the ample parking, the nearness to a good walking trail at the state park and the convenience to town. We found the house to be an excellent fit for a winter retreat for our group of five women, who drive in from many directions: Twin Cities, Marshfield, Madison and Janesville. Jen was very easy to communicate with, the price was reasonable, the secured key entry worked well, and the place was very clean, up-to-date and uncluttered. Excellent all around!
