Positive: We particularly liked the very good equipment and very loving interior of the house. We immediately felt at home. There was no noise, apart from the occasional and discreet crowing of a rooster. Contrary to previous reviews, the house is now equipped with air conditioning, which provided pleasant temperatures when needed. It was wonderful to relax on the veranda and in the pool. Very good shopping facilities can be reached within 5 minutes and the drive to the beach takes less than 30 minutes. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. They showed us around and were always available if there was anything we needed.

Negative: As in all southern holiday homes, you have to deal with ants. This means it is important that there are no crumbs or leftover food lying around, as this is a welcome invitation to build ant trails. ;-)

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this holiday home.

Positive: We had a great stay at Amélia’s House - Fatima and her husband were great, met us when we arrived and were on hand for any questions. Perfect house with everything we needed - nice terrace in shade, pool with umbrellas and sun shades and equidistant for supermarket and beaches for kids, but on quiet side street backing onto farmland. Didn’t take any photos but those on website are accurate.

Negative: Nothing - everything was perfect.
