Summary: The Amsterdam Castle is a renovated armory! The renovations were done with efficiency and comfort in mind. Every space has purpose to enlarge the room experience. We loved the decor that made us feel that we were living in a castle. Outside the appointments make you feel that you have stepped back to the days of King Arthur! The great room eating area follows this tradition as well. The location in Amsterdam, about 26 miles west of Albany was close enough to the capital but offered other adventures: Erie Canal trail! The parking was tricky just go around the back and avoid the steep entry way. We highly recommend the stay and experience!

Summary: The hotel was a bit disappointing. The room was small, no stand for suitcase, no desk. The bathroom didn't have any counter space. Its fine for the experience of staying in a castle, but not great. Also, no breakfast. Not much in area either.

Summary: Really cool place! I would love to come back when we have more time to spend. I didn’t get to check out anything besides the lobby and my room but there’s definitely more to enjoy in your stay.

Summary: Due to a problem with another Inn, we found this place for the night as we were driving. It was a great surprise and so glad we found it! Besides the look of a castle on the outside it continued to look like one on the inside. Everywhere you looked there was something awesome to see and our room was great too. The staff was very friendly and I would definitely recommend this place!
