Summary: The air conditioning in the room was not working. There were a lot of mosquitos. I only stayed 1 day but my parents stayed longer and said the breakfast was ok. I left very early in the morning and the gentleman who checked us in said that he would be able to have breakfast ready for me to take with me to the airport but he never asked what I wanted and was not available when the driver came to pick me up. The gentleman did help setup a driver for me to go to the airport, which was very helpful

Summary: Amritara Beach Symphony is a little paradise. I loved my bungalow and enjoyed being close to the public beach where local families turn out to watch the sunset and fishermen haul in their catch in the morning. The pool is gorgeous, surrounded by lush greenery. The staff was attentive and helpful and arranged an amazing sunrise backwater boat tour. It felt like home-- would definitely stay again! Expedia needs to remove some of the older reviews for this spot as they don't reflect current reality.

Summary: Staying at Marari Beach Resort was an absolute pleasure. From the moment that we were greeted at reception I knew we had made the right decision to stay there! Even when we had to check out at 5am they prepared a takeaway breakfast for us as we couldn't make it to the buffet! The yoga teacher was extremely amiable and you can have a good chat and a laugh with any of the staff members, they are always smiling! The downfalls were that we couldnt swim at the beach due to it being too dangerous, also the food is considerably more expensive than the rest of India. However it is worth it for the beautiful surroundings and staff!
