Positive: Overall the property was clean and tidy and a good size.

Negative: There are some issues that do need to be addressed. We had to purchase batteries for one of the fan remotes and the other main bedroom lighting remote did not work either. Showers were poor, pressure was impossible to wash your hair or maintain temperature and there is black mold in the main bathroom, but the MOST DISTURBING issue we found was the owners surveillance of the pool and bbq area and must be stated it was completely covering every area of the pool therefore no privacy at all. Also the pool appears to have been cleaned while we had paid to have this space as our personal space, again lack of privacy. Personally we found this unacceptable and meant we could not use the space to its full advantage. If anyone considers privacy an important issue definitely look for other properties in Sandstone Point and surrounds. We understand front door surveillance requirements, however, the private back yard space where we have paid good money to use, with the cameras making it uncomfortable at best and a complete invasion at worst and makes us wonder where the images of us personally are now held.

Negative: The fact that $500 dollars is taken for deposit in full not just held like most other places and then be told to put it back onto card used there would be a charge unless I get in touch with back details, thought that was strange (don’t mind paying a deposit just a run around after)
