Positive: The unit itself was very clean and great location to the ferry terminal

Negative: With the proximity to the airport, the planes were flying overhead all night long. There was a washer in the unit; however, no soap was provided. The amenities were lacking for this unit.

Positive: Clean, spacious apartment near the airport with a free parking. Since this is our second time in the same apartment, it's obvious we like it very much. This year we explored Heraklion more and visited Water city, the biggest aqua park in Crete, just 15 min by car from the apartment. Great experience, especially for the kids.

Positive: The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was more than sufficiently equipped. Huge advantage was that all rooms were air conditioned. Finally, the communication with the owner was sufficient when needed.

Negative: The apartment was a bit noisy due to the airport and the airplane departures.

Summary: Clean and cozy apartment, very comfortable and convenient due to the proximity to the city center.

Positive: Location of the apartment is very close to the bus station and only a 5 min car ride to the airport. We were here only for a day, prior to our departure and it was a very good choice as we had time to visit the town a little bit as well. The host made sure we had some water when we arrived at the apartment which was a nice touch. We felt welcomed and even got some help planning the trip to the airport. All rooms had their own AC, windows had blinds and insects nets. Apartment also had it's own parking spot which was a huge help.

Negative: There is an intense noise from the planes departures but it's normal because of the small distance. One good thing is, there is a long break in departures between ~11 PM and ~5 AM so we could get some sleep.
