Summary: When we arrived to our room I noticed it wasn't as clean as it should be, so of course the first thing we check was the bed. The linens were stained and the comforter had old food on it. I understand things happen so I went to the desk and was going to remake the bed myself, while waiting for linens we looked around the room some more and realized the coffee maker had the old filter in it and was covered in mold, the bathroom had hair and wasn't very clean and overall we just were not comfortable staying in it. After waiting 15 minutes for the front desk agent to let us know is going on, I walked down to the desk and heard him on the phone talking about how we were just causing problems and it wasn't that bad. Then he proceeded to tell me how the GM doesn't like to work, that he calls people in when he's supposed to cover the desk and that the head housekeeper is his cousin and he doesn't make him responsible for anything, including checking rooms after housekeepers are done cleaning. We ended up switching rooms for one night and then having to move the next morning back to the original room because the room that they moved us to was not available for two nights, which put our plans on hold the first morning waiting for the room to be cleaned and then moving.

Summary: Room was updated but still older building, hallways kinda smell with older carpet. Breakfast area small for volume. Just not impressed for price.

Summary: Everything was clean and comfortable. The air fell apart and the filter was dirty. I did get it back together. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was extremely loud. Dirty socks left in a drawer. The sundeck needed attention. Breakfast was good.

Summary: Breakfast was terrible, and don't ever try and talk to anyone at the front desk they don't answer. The rooms are clean but need new paint job. Check in was really quick, only time I was able t get ahold of the front desk.

Summary: Overall, our stay was horrible. Evening/overnight staff were unimpressive, however morning staff was great. Every air conditioner we encountered was caked with lint requiring us to clean them ourselves. We requested a rollaway bed and it took over an hour to receive it while being told there wasn’t any extra pillows, sheets, or even blankets to accommodate our group. Bedding was stained with an orange color. The pool was alright but there were never towels. We paid for late checkout but cleaning staff weren’t informed resulting in getting walked in on (luckily nobody was changing or indecent). For a group of 7, we weren’t provided enough towels and required to ask multiple times before receiving any more. Laundry was awful and half of it didn’t work, staff was unhelpful, resulting in having to run around town to find quarters just to do 1 small load. Overall, we won’t be recommending nor staying here again.

Summary: Clean and comfortable hotel located very close to Devil's Lake state park and other hiking as well as Baraboo. Hotel elevator, hallways, and staircase looked a little outdated but were clean. Room itself looked liked it had been updated. Front desk staff were very kind.

Summary: Overall good stay. Affordable clean hotel. Friendly staff at check in. Easy access to room. I like the online check in and check out. Breakfast was slammed lots of people, but holiday weekend and to be expected so i have no issue with that. Perhaps on those busier days having two wafflemakers going would be helpful. Everyone loves a good hotel waffle in the continental breakfast. Only other issue was the rollaway mattress option. It's nice that they have this as an option but the mattress was quite old and springy. Needs to be upgraded. This is a minor issue as many hotels don't offer this option at all. Overall I would recommend this hotel as a budget-friendly and clean option near Wisconsin dells.
