Positive: We had a great stay - the caravan was fab, entertainment fun, little shop on site, great views of the coast. Modern, clean, very well equipped caravan, close to the facilities. Large main bedroom with dressing area, masses of storage and a good sized ensuite (shower is great) Good size 2nd bedroom with 2 comfortable single beds and storage Kitchen was very well equipped Caravan is 2nd row back from the coast, but can still see the sea from the lovely veranda with comfortable sofa and arm chair seating The caravan also smelt lovely when we arrived, which is always a welcoming.

Negative: Unfortunately that entertainment passes are not included, so if you want to book swimming or other activities you have to purchase these separately from the reception. Can still access the entertainment/ arcade/ bar/ outdoor play area etc. without them. Then some minor things: It would be great to have a little bottle of washing up liquid provided (I forgot to bring any) as they provide a dishcloth, tea towels and dishwasher tablets. Also perhaps a little bar of soap for the shower room and ensuite (although I remember to bring that with me!) The listing needs more pictures - but the rest of the caravan is of the same look and standard as the main photo, so we weren't disappointed.

Summary: Fantastic caravan, modern, well equipped and a sea view!

Positive: Beautiful lodge. Location - need a car, though we walked a few times down the country lane (no footpath, beware) to the nearest pub (Duke of Rothesay) 25min. Lodge is on the 2nd row with a clear view overlooking the sea, it would be lovely on a cloudless eve to see the sunset. Site is very clean and well maintained, though due to a recent fire all facilities closed so no-one to ask when we arrived to direct us to the lodge, so referred to map on wall. Beautiful veranda, spacious lodge, plenty of storage & plug sockets, excellent kitchen with efficient oven, hob, big fridge freezer. Heating was valuable being end Sep but only needed it on for an hour in the morn & eve, temp stayed warm after turning it off. Hot showers, firm comfy double bed, singles not very comfy.

Negative: On arrival we noticed marks on bedding & lots of dog hair on carpets. Owner rang me in the eve of our 1st day to explain the cleaner had mixed up her diary, she visited while we were out, changed double bed but suspect the singles were not changed as there was some hair on the bedding (she may assumed the room wasn't being used but our daughter & bf weren't arriving until the next day), towels smelled a bit and rolled up towels in small bedroom were covered in make-up. We used the small vacuum & emptied it 3x times, each time filled with dog hairs. Happy that dogs are allowed but needs a better vacuum cleaner to remove hairs. No bin bag in the kitchen bin & really should have cleaning products so we could clean up after ourselves. Wifi wasn't working so couldn't access the TV apps, not a problem just a comment. Booking.com didn't mention the lodge is alarmed so we were surprised to hear the beeping when we opened the door. Owner was v apologetic about the issues.
