Positive: The free private parking is excellent and very convenient for road trippers. The breakfast was included in the price and was okay — a decent start to the day.
Negative: The room was very stuffy and did not have a pleasant smell. It definitely needs better ventilation and a fresher feel.
Summary: Good parking, but the room needs improvement.

Positive: Very decent hotel, nice surroundings, well placed for transit, large parking lot, clean.
Negative: The fulfilment of the 3-star level may be debatable (according to different countries) but anyhow the price is higher than expected for similar settings in Central/Eastern Europe. No Genius discount for Booking.com (but no discount for direct booking or for return-trip either). The price is valued mainly pro person and not by room (so the triple is 1.5 the price of a double room, even if it is only a little bit larger and the breakfast is not an expensive one). The worst experience was of not getting water at dinner and the explanation was incredible! In fact, a water dispenser was available (tap water +/- filtered) but it became empty, and when we asked for a glass of water, a not-very-young lady wearing glasses that served as bar-tender and dinning-room chief gave the incredible answer that water was served only for organised groups having dinner!!! The young ladies at the reception did not have any different position, just said they will record our complaint... I have to say that they did not offer water even to pay for it; there were some juices and drinks available at the bar (we had bought two beers just before). To say also that they gave us written rules at checking-in including that bringing drinks in the dining from outside is not permitted... The conclusion may be that drinking water is quite forbidden at dinner ... At that time it was an organised group just finishing dinner, it was well within the working hours for dinner and bar (20:00), we have paid the dinner in advance, at check-in, at the fixed price stated. We behave as very civilised people, so no reason to be "punished", and we have spent enough money at this hotel for to get a glass of water. So I have really no explanation way we deserved such an experience... I HAVE TO UNDERLINE FOR THE OWNERS, MANAGERS AND STAFF OF THIS HOTEL THAT EU RECOMMENDATIONS AND EVEN THE SLOVENIAN'S CONSTITUTION AND LAWS STATE THAT TAP/FILTERED WATER IS TO BE SERVED IN ALL RESTAURANTS!
Summary: One bad behaviour can demolish all the good things there.

Positive: The Staff was really friendly and breakfast was okay!
Negative: The room was very dirty and in poor condition. The shower did not drain properly. There was air conditioning, but it did not work very well. The beds were also extremely hard and very uncomfortable.
