VIEWS, VIEWS, VIEWS. Direct Candlewood Lake Front Home. Authentic lakefront home for the discriminating vacationer. The home is loaded with Adirondack charm, luxury and comfort. The home offers a 2nd Floor king master bedroom, amazing lake views and a full bathroom, a 2nd queen bedroom on this level with equally amazing lake view, an additional full bath, sitting room and laundry finish off this level. Down on the entry level there is a full bath. A few steps down there is the main living space - a full kitchen with Subzero Refrigerator, 36’ Gas range and dishwasher, a screened door leads out to a terrace with the built in gas grille and outdoor dining area with lake view. Back inside a dining room with panoramic view, gas log fireplace and adjoining family room with wood burning fireplace and exquisite views of the Lake, a quaint breakfast room with tv and a lake view finish off the main level. The walk out Patio level has a full bath and a summer kitchen and pull out sofa bed. The french doors open to an enormous bluestone terrace overlooking the lake. There is a huge outdoor fire pit, kayaks, and paddleboards. Enjoy a game of corn hole for lots of family fun. The dock has a ladder for easy access back onto the dock for swimming.

There is a private beach area, dock for swimming. There is also a ramp to launch kayaks(2-Two person Kayaks, 1-One person Kayak provided) and paddle boards (2 paddle Boards provided ). Kayaks and Paddleboards are used at the renters own risk.
We are located in Candlewood Isle, a Guard Gated Community. We ask all guests to be respectful of the community and surrounding neighbors. There is a community quiet time noise ordinance at 9:00 pm. We are 5 minutes to Stop N Shop and New Fairfield Market for Groceries, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Deli, (2)Liquor Stores, gift shops and Restaurants (3) Nail Salons and American Pie, Grub Hub, Door Dash and Uber Eats available.
Boat rentals available from one of the Local Marinas. Enjoy hours of fun on the Lake and then take a cruise over to Down The Hatch Restaurant(right on the lake with docking) for a bite to eat.

Summary: What a great place to vacation with your family. The home(s) are clean and you feel like you are in an adirondack lodge with the decor and views. Lots of patio space to hang out, corn hole, grill and enjoy the fire pit. The kids loved swimming off the dock and we also paddle boarded. There are plenty of life jackets in a variety of sizes for all. Beds are super comfy, plenty of dishes and cookware. Shopping center for groceries/food are about 10 minutes drive. Our family had a great time here.

Summary: We were four couples taking a some time to unwind and relax together and we definitely found a great place to do so. We worked directly with the owner’s who were just a pleasure. The homes were clean, beautifully decorated, beds comfortable, and there was everything we needed for cooking, eating on the patio, laying in the sun, paddle boarding and a dock to swim off of. And if that’s not enough activity, the neighborhood is good for walking and there is a gym in the home as well. We enjoyed reading, watching the boating activity, making s’mores on the fire pit and experiencing some gorgeous sunsets. It was the perfect place for a recharge!

Summary: My family spent most of July at this wonderful property. There are two homes on site and they are both well appointed and clean. We booked directly through Tiffany who was quick to respond and answered all our questions. The main house down at the Lakeside had an enormous slate patio where we spent most of our time. Plenty of seating options, umbrellas, built in grill and a large fire pit. They have paddle boards, kayaks a small beach area and a dock. We rented a boat locally and were able to keep it right on the dock. There are also tennis/pickleball courts in the community as well as a clubhouse with a beach on the lake with a dedicated swim area and playground. Perfect neighborhood for walking/running or just work out in their private gym in the upper house. Outside of the gated community you are a quick 10 minutes to Restaurants, Shopping, bakery, deli, liquor store, nail salon, a Starbucks and a Dunkin Donuts. This was the best family vacation!

Summary: We did a weekend visit for Mother's Day. The weather was perfect to grill outside, spend time on the patio watch a few boats go by while enjoying family time, then having a fire in the firepit in the evening. The homes were very clean and well appointed with everything we needed. We worked directly with the owners who couldn't be more responsive! Would highly recommend this property and owners...

Summary: Great place to stay. Our family had lots of fun and together time. We were able to use the community beach, tennis courts and basketball. Caught fish off the dock, swam and used the kayaks and paddle boards available at residence. Steven and Tiffany were very easy to work with.

Summary: Candlewood Isle is a special place and the outdoor space for this home is terrific. Terrific location on th lake as well. The houses are eclectic. Some of the cleanup rules were abnormal having stayed in at least 35 homes of this stature but the outdoor space overcomes any of the weaknesses of this property.

Summary: Our Family had a wonderful stay at this property. The two homes worked great for us. The homes were super clean, well equipped and the location and views were awesome. We kayaked, swam, paddle boarded and spent the evenings hanging at the firepit. SUNSETS are spectacular. Shops/Dining within 5 minutes, plus many delivery options... Would highly recommend this property without hesitation.

Summary: Our family enjoyed our stay on Candlewood Isle. We even had a hurricane and we didn’t miss a beat. A great family gathering place. The two homes were very accommodating.

Summary: Very cool house on a perfect part of the lake. Candlewood Isle is a super nice community and this is one of the nicest properties within it. Great setup overall with fantastic outdoor space. The owners were very easy to deal with and extremely responsive.
