Positive: The stay at Amarah Hotel was very pleasant overall. The pool is a real highlight and perfect for relaxing. The rooms were clean and well maintained, which made the stay very comfortable. The location is very convenient, as you can reach everything in Butuan quickly. The restaurant also impressed us with very tasty food. Overall, it is one of the best hotels in Butuan.

Negative: The air conditioning was a bit noisy when running.

Positive: The pool area was very nice. Breakfast tasteful. Nice interior.

Negative: For some reason I was given a suite for disabled. The staff said that could sometimes happen if you booked online. Despite a huge bathroom the shower was placed directly besides the toilet, so we had to wipe it dry after every shower. Also the drain was clogged so the floor got flooded. AC was broken and going on max cooling all the time. Maintenance came but didn't do much to solve it.

Positive: Front desk staff were accommodating.

Negative: Sliding door needs lubricant to move. Toiletry wise - no bathroom tissues/napkins (you have to ask the front desk). Hand soap (minimal); face/body none at all (you have to ask the front desk again. I mean, come on, HOUSEKEEPING, do your job, make the CEO room, a hassle free place to stay!

Summary: Housekeeping needs a big improvement on keeping up with the so-called CEO room.

Negative: The breakfast wasn't great always the same, Always out of stuff everyday, The suite wasn't a suite, The price for extra guests at pool was ridiculous high for area, The guests price for breakfast was outrageous. Will never stay there again. A lot better options at much better prices, and food . At other local hotels. Like Water Gate Hotel, Better suite for much cheaper price, much better food ect ect,
