Positive: Beautiful guesthouse and location. Spacious, welcoming, and comfortable room that we wouldn’t mind getting stuck in if there was bad weather. We loved spending time on the balcony which had a great view of the village and sunsets. Super clean! Kind, helpful staff- we were given great tips on hiking and what to do in the area. We spent 3 nights here but could have spent more. Quiet and charming. We especially enjoyed walking around the village which had small signs scattered throughout as a “living museum” pointing out significant parts of local history. We explored different parts of the village each night and there were plenty of restaurants, shops, cafe, bakery. We would love to return here again.

Positive: Everything was fantastic. The views from our balcony were gorgeous, the fantastic breakfast selection, with so much of it homemade, the tasteful rooms in keeping with the old character of the guesthouse, the extremely helpful staff, including the recommendation for the restaurant which was also brilliant.

Negative: Nothing except the parking was tricky but there is nothing that can be done about that in a lovely old village like Dimitsana, and Panos offered to park our car for us. We always got a space in the garage.

Summary: Thoroughly recommend Amanites and would definitely stay there again

Positive: Beautiful Old House, restored carefully and decorated with love and taste. Balcony room recommend. View is wonderful. We watched the goats leaving in the morning an returning on the evening (loved the Sound of their bells). Phantastic breakfast, everything homade, different things everyday. The host Aris was kind and shared a lot of usefull information with us. All his suggestions were great events for us (visit the village Karitena!)
