Negative: I am only disappointed that the town doesn't have more in the way of nightlife or cafes that are open late.

Positive: The house was well equipped with everything you would expect. Excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water for the shower. Parking was available very close by for an additional cost of 500 yen. The location was just one street off the main road so it was easy to access food and shopping. Communication with the proprietor was prompt and efficient.

Negative: There's almost no sunlight on the first floor because there are building on three sides and the front window is barred to avoid people staring in from the street. It felt a little like being in a basement. There's a small park across the street with a jungle gym located directly in front of the house so there's noise from the small children and high school students who are playing hooky. It quiets down in the evening after it gets dark. There is no sofa in the living room, only hard-back chairs so I couldn't relax by putting my feet up after a long day of walking around the town.

Positive: The house is wide and had everything included. There are 2 toilets and a nice bathroom, a washing machine, and lot of futons / bed sheets. Everything was clean. Location is convenient (lot of shops / restaurants nearby, close to the center), and parking is near the house. There is a park in front of the house but we were not annoyed by the noise at all. Kind staff, and very correct price/quality.

Negative: There is no sofa (only chairs), and the dining chairs are not very conformable. The bedroom is quite bright in the morning. Also, the parking is a paid option (500JPY a day).

Positive: Looks like an old wooden property that was refurbished and renovated into a modern home stay. It comes with a free car park nearby and there are a number of restaurants nearby.

Negative: Nothing but just be conscious to keep your voice down at night. The sound-proof is typically not good for old wooden property.
