Positive: What a stunning hotel. Beautifully converted mansion which envelops you in calm and serenity as soon as you walk through the front door. Our beautifully decorated room was spotless and huge with a massive bathroom and walk in shower. Beds incredibly comfortable with high quality linen. Staff were welcoming and even showed us round some of the other rooms, (ask to see the one with its own elaborate alter!). Breakfast served on the terrace was delicious and varied. Moura is a great base to explore the region and we plan to return to Amada Moura next timer we are in Portugal.

Positive: Our stay at Amada Moura was amazing. Before arriving, we kept in touch with the host and they were very responsive. Our check in was also very easy and flexible. The room was great, very spacey, very well decorated, we loved some details of how they managed to merge modern decoration with some vintage/historic elements (e.g., the wardrobe, the light switches, etc.). It felt like travelling a bit back in time but at the same time having the comfort of modern times. The bathroom was also beautiful. Everyone was very nice and available. The breakfast was great, with plenty to choose from, very healthy and tasty. The courtyard is such a calm place to relax, with the pool and the lemon tree... it just begs to slow down and enjoy the moment without rushing.

Positive: I loved the parking spot in front of the hotel. The breakfast outside , the big fire place and beautiful suite. The products in the bathroom. The furniture and bed. The antique altar in my suite ! The quirky decoration details. Very friendly personnel

Negative: The cobble stones in the street . If you are not an easy sleeper ask for a room in tbe back. I wasn t sure whether the bathrobes were for decoration or to use since they were very coarse and a rather small size. I would have loved a fluffy bathrobe in that beautiful suite. A small detail. Bacon should be cooked crisp. Undercooked is not healthy.

Positive: Charming house tastefully and very nicely renovated and decorated, in a very good location directly in the center. Very welcoming staff - Iliana was so friendly and helpful. Beautiful room and house with original elements incorporated and preserved and incorporated to the housing. The breakfast was exceptional - nothing too short. A cosy living area with fireplace, which was lit and very welcoming on a bit cloudy day. Little pool in the courtyard that can be used in warmer season.

Positive: We’ve been one night on Amada Moura a high rated (booking 9.4) place with ~200€/night for a superior deluxe room. The house has lots of aesthetic and simple materials and details, combining old and modern (congrats to Decoration Head), starting in the construction and ending with small details in the bathroom and room. Really nice. The breakfast was super, with a beautiful decor in a sunny balcony with nice staff to ensure you start your day in a good mood.

Negative: Only downside of this place is functionality, as noise canceling between the front door, superior rooms and reception was completely ignored. As so, every person that walks, talks, opens or close the door, you’re 5 feet away, with an old wooden door without any noise isolation. Bath water sour was also not working properly, as water kept flooding the bathroom, after each bath. Long story short, amazing place, nice staff but some important details in a place where people seek to rest should definitely be improved.
