Positive: Gostámos muito da estadia! Foi um fim de semana em família perfeito para descansar e desligar um bocadinho. A casa é espetacular, super espaçosa, com uma piscina incrível e espaço de barbecue onde fizemos um belo churrasco. A mesa de bilhar e os matrecos foram um verdadeiro 'plus' que nos garantiu muito boa disposição e diversão. Como a zona de Escalos de Cima é extremamente quente, o facto de a casa dispor de ar condicionado foi excelente , e a D. Esperança fez questão de o ligar antes de chegarmos, pelo que fomos recebidos com a casa já fresquinha. Adorámos mesmo! A D. Esperança é muito simpática, super prestável e atenciosa. Além disso, tivemos o prazer de ter a companhia da 'mini senhoria' da casa, a Lua, uma gatinha super sociável que nos conquistou. Quando fizemos a reserva, a D. Esperança alertou-nos de que vivia um senhor numa parte independente da casa, mas garantiu que não interferia com a nossa privacidade. E realmente correu tudo lindamente: apenas o vimos uma vez durante todo o fim de semana e foi extremamente cordial. Vamos voltar de certeza!

Positive: We had a very nice weekend in this accommodation. We were warmly welcomed on arrival with fresh orange juice and delicious muffins - a really lovely gesture. The rooms were already pleasantly pre-heated, which we were particularly pleased about. The hostess was very nice and met us personally at the accommodation. We were particularly impressed by the living room - an absolute dream with a wonderful view of the olive trees. The beds were very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. The kitchen is very compact, but is perfectly adequate for a leisurely breakfast. All in all, a highly recommended accommodation where we felt completely at home.

Positive: It’s a very comfortable, and calm place to stay with beautiful views around the house. The rooms are big, very clean, and bright with daylight through the large windows and doors. The rooms were warm and beds are very comfortable. You can enjoy your reading, and meals with warm sunshine on the balcony with beautiful views. You can hear the birds whistling, and the big dogs are cute and friendly. The location is ideal for anyone who loves to explore the areas with mountains, rivers, lakes, all within an hour of driving. Just behind the house you can walk, jog or bike for kilometers in nature with lots of cork trees. Hence the place is excellent value for the money spent for accommodation. The host is very kind, friendly, and does her best to make sure your stay is comfortable. I was welcomed with fresh orange juice, a nice little surprise for me. Cookies and chocolates, tea and coffee. Even basic ingredients to prepare a meal in the kitchen were ready. What struck me was the attention to detail in everything in the house given by the host, and how well they have been arranged. A big thanks to the host, I enjoyed my stay :)
