Positive: The location is absolutely stunning. I highly recommend setting an alarm and getting up for the sunrise! The staff was so friendly, with just the right amount of attention. The room was clean and comfortable, and the private pool was fantastic. We brought dinner, because we were unsure of the location options, but they have plenty of local options to order from, so we need not have worried. I will definitely come back next time I’m in Angra.

Negative: My only suggestion would be larger signs at the entrance. Once we turned off the highway and came to the top of the hill, we completely missed the small sign to turn right at the fork, and thought we had turned at the wrong place. Once we figured it out, we found the right entrance, but had it been dark I don’t know if I would’ve ever saw it.

Negative: The bed sheets and cover were not great. The cover was very low quality.

Summary: Great view and pool and helpful staff. While the rooms are quite clean, they are very basic.
