Positive: Beautiful location directly on the Tegernsee. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Dining options on the property are excellent, but also plenty of local restaurants in the area. Spa at the hotel is first class.

Negative: Some small problems with the mechanicals in the bathroom, but they were quickly addressed by the staff. The upgrade costs to have a lake view were quite hefty - we were hoping for an off-season rate with a partial lake view, but too expensive. We settled for the view of town and the hills.

Summary: Very relaxing visit to Bavaria for a shoulder-season week-long stay at the beautiful Tegernsee.

Negative: check in takes 20 min because paymwnt system doesnot work, the same when check out. We cant pay with card.

Positive: Location, clean, big rooms and all the spaces, good quality of materials, very good service indoor bar and reception.

Negative: Outdoor pool very small, kids club without any assistance. Could be great to have personal working in to give some freedom to the parents and more relaxed time for guests without kids.
