Positive: The location was fantastic, and the apartment was clean, spacious and has great light. The lift was very helpful for some in our party. It was wonderful to be on the square and look out into the trees. Having the taxi stand was very convenient as well.
Negative: It should be made very clear that the apartment is only accessible via a cellphone app. One of our party was an older person with no cellphone, which severely limited their independence while in Modena. For a longer stay, the kitchen is a bit sparsely equipped.
Summary: A very comfortable apartment on the square, with a fantastic location.

Positive: The apartment is located very close the the historic center of Modena. It was very clean and everything was working perfectly.
Negative: To use your mobile as a key was very new to us and we wonder what will happen when you do not have a smart phone or your mobile runs out of battery.

Positive: The host's instructions were quite comprehensive (pictures, instructions in english and italian) and helpful to get to the property. The location was quite wonderful and you could walk to a lot of things. The apartment itself was good!
Negative: While the parking is mentioned, its not really near the property, its a partking lot a good disctance away. Also it was full when we got there so there is no garunteed parking. We ended up parking in the paid parking which wasn't a deal breaker, but would have been good to know before booking.

Negative: The doona was quite inadequate for 12 degrees at night. We don't like sleeping with an air conditioner on. A toilet seat was unattached. There were no instructions for the washing machine.
Summary: Clean, roomy and well located.
