Summary: It was such a pleasure to stay at this unique establishment. The hosts take you in welcoming the place explaining their unique way of life. The location is great, next to parking lot right in town. The sauna on a rooftop with a stargazing bubble and mountain views is spectacular. The charcuterie plate serves thick cuts of local meats and cheese, don’t miss it. The dog Neige is a great St. Bernard welcoming you along with two cats.

Summary: We loved the owners and staff. They were all exceptionally friendly and to top it all off their dog, Neige, was so sweet. It felt like being at home.

Summary: Very welcoming staff at the hotel with a super-friendly dog called Neige (he is a gentle giant, Bernese Mountain dog, very docile and is only around in the afternoon :) ) We used the hotel as a base to hike around the Aussois area over a long weekend in August. Breakfast was a great continental buffet to get you started with all the usuals including a machine to boil eggs. There is a free car park literally next to the hotel which is very convenient. At the end of a hard day hiking, the rooftop terrace is great - this offers panoranomic views of the valley either from sunbed or nordic hottub; there is also a sauna on the corner with tinted glass allowing you privacy whilst providing a view up the mountains. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant so cannot comment.
