Positive: This is a wonderful property for a stay away from the city and getting back to nature. We had a wonderful time walking to the waterfall (+- 1.5 km away on a clearly marked trail). Lazy days spent out in nature. A nice coffee shop and place for snacks / toasted sandwich. Peace and quiet
Summary: Great stay in the cedarberg

Positive: The cottage was cosy and very well stocked with self catering amenities. The views are amazing and our family really enjoyed the hike to the waterfall. The farm is beautifully situated and there is plenty to do. Loved the coffee shop, the food and great book and games corner. What a wonderful get away for our family.
Negative: The weather but that had nothing to do with how incredible the farm is.

Positive: We loved the location of the farm in the middle of this stunning landscape. Our little cottage with the table and deck chairs outside was very comfortable and so was the bathroom. The kitchen tools were absolutley sufficient for our purposes. We enjoyed the quiet, the remoteness, the birds singing, the mountain views, the flora, the star gazing. The path to the waterfall was very well marked and going there was a beautiful experience. It was also wonderful to be welcomed with pizza fresh out of the oven on Friday night. The home-made wine was lekker !
Negative: I was a little surprised about the limited eats at the Hen House. It had been so well promoted in the description that I had expected a little more. But it was fine since we made our own breakfast at our Cottage. The gluten-free rusks we bought saved us on Sunday !
Summary: Wonderful location in a stunning landscape on a farm not far from the Sevilla Rock Art Trail.

Positive: We stayed in a beautiful, whitewashed cottage. The setting on the farm was lovely - very private, picturesque and peaceful. Having the Hen House coffee shop and restaurant on the property was very convenient as well. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We did the walk to the waterfall and swam there. There is also a farm dam to swim and canoe in.
Negative: Nothing
Summary: We loved the tranquility of Alpha Excelsior Farm … the stunning sunsets and beautiful starry nights. We could have staye
