Positive: Alpet was the best stay on the Peaks of the Balkans! We were immediately greeted with hospitality by Sefa, Bedriaj, and their family. My friend arrived early to the guest house. She was met by the entire family and given homemade rose water (a delightful treat!). I arrived a little later and the family let our trail friends to join us for lunch on their patio. They also made us a delicious snack! The food is amazing! We had a delightful dinner, filled to the brim with homemade cheese, byrek, and fresh foods. After dinner, the host gave us a tour of her garden (even pulling samples of spinach and parsley for us to try). She also showed us her cows and a newborn calf. The cabins are cozy - incredibly clean, laid out nicely, and with gorgeous views on every side. You can tell how detail-oriented the entire family is. There are flowers galore and lots of outdoor seating (swings, etc.). The mountains in the back are breathtaking. My friend and I were trying to beat a thunderstorm the next morning, and the host organized a ride from her neighbor so that we could get to the trailhead at a reasonable time. We felt so loved, cared for, and safe on the Peaks on the Balkans! We can't wait to come back to Vusanje!

Positive: Stunning location with perfect mountain views, incredibly friendly and helpful family who runs the place, delicious food and absolutely clean. What a great place to stay! We felt welcomed and comfortable the minute we arrived. We can wholeheartedly recommend to stay there!
