This large character home is located on a hill, near the Oise and the Chemin Vert. Ideal for family holidays, it has a fenced park with a barbecue and plenty of comfortable seating. You can go hiking and cycling, but also fishing, horse riding, and canoeing! The home is located 2 2-hour drive from Brussels, 2.5 hours from Paris, and only 1.5 hours from Reims.

Summary: Ontvangst door madame Carlier was erg aardig. Prachtige parktuin. Groot huis, alles wat je nodig hebt, voor een aangenaam en comfortabel verblijf, is aanwezig. Het is geen koud huis, de verwarming werkt uitstekend en ook de grote open haard. Een minpuntje: de douche beneden zeer eenvoudig.

Summary: Tuin niet goed omheind, voor ons 1e prioriteit vanwege onze hond met jachtinstinct. Badkamers en toiletten zijn aan verbetering toe. Verder een prima locatie met een schitterende tuin en uitzicht.

Summary: Het huis was erg ruim en de tuin ook, het was een heerlijk rustige omgeving. Boodschappen doen op ongeveer 15 minuten autorijden. Helaas waren de bedden matig tot slecht, een deel is echt aan vervanging toe. Het aantal kopjes en glazen zou ook uitgebreid mogen worden. Wifi werkte niet, dit is geprobeerd op te lossen tijdens ons verblijf maar is niet gelukt, persoonlijk vond ik dit niet zo heel erg. De speelatributen buiten (trampoline, schommels e.d.) kunnen wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Met auto kun je veel mooie dorpen, steden en natuur in de omgeving bezoeken. Ook voor de geocachers onder ons, valt daar genoeg te vinden. De omgeving en de het ruime huis met ruime tuin zorgt er voor dat het, ondanks de gebreken, toch een goede ervaring is geweest. Als de punten die genoemd zijn aangepakt worden, dan is het helemaal top.

Summary: De tweede week hadden wij een huis gehuurd in Picardie dan waren we niet zo ver van Nederland af. Daar aangekomen op zaterdag moesten we wel even slikken .ENORM veel afval bij de toegangspoort , allemaal opengescheurde zakken , pas dinsdagavond kwamen de vuilnismannen maar die lieten terecht de open zakken liggen .Tegen mijn principes in, maar wij deden dit ook nu niet , het was niet ons afval. Het huis is van de buitenkant prachtig kan wel een likje verf gebruiken maar is authentiek. Binnen echter vergane glorie. Bij aankomst bleken we geen wifi te hebben ivm opnieuw aanleggen van glasvezel. Echter daar hadden we dit huis op uitgezocht, afstand, de wifi en de biljarttafel. De biljarttafel , keu's waren kapot en het laken idem dito. Het huis was smoezelig en sommige dingen zelfs vies, hier kan je denk ik niet alleen de schoonmaakster de schuld van geven want het huis is zeer groot en je weet niet hoeveel uur zij betaald krijgt om het schoon te maken ,wij hebben na onze week 75 euro voor het schoonmaken moeten betalen. De droger was kapot ,zo ook de afwasmachine (vol schimmel en spaghettislierten ) , op maandag stond er opeens een man voor de deur ,die zich niet voorstelde maar rechtstreeks naar de afwasmachine liep. Dat bleek de klusjesman. Voor ons hoefde hij deze niet te maken de afwas deden we wel met de hand en de was lieten we buiten drogen, echter het moest voor zaterdag gebeuren , wij waren GENOODZAAKT om de volgende dag op de afgesproken tijd weer bij het huis te zijn want dan zou hij het komen maken zo ook de deurklink van de keukendeur die er continu uitviel. De volgende dag waren wij op het afgesproken tijdstip thuis maar er kwam geen klusjesman opdagen!! Die kwam de volgende dag rond 16.00 uur aanzetten, wij hebben hem duidelijk gemaakt dat het niet meer hoefde nu, hij ging weg om 2 uur later weer achterom aan te komen zetten om te passen en meten voor de deur. Ik was aan het koken en schrok me weer kapot, weer gezegd samedi wij hebben nu vakantie .Wat schertst mijn verbazing de volgende ochtend kwam hij weer achterom tijdens ons ontbijt buiten aankuieren, voor de 4e keer kwam hij ons storen .....ongehoord dit!! Toen vertrok hij met oke geen probleem ....omdat wij uit onze slof schoten. Het vakantiegevoel was niet echt hoog wij vonden het een ENORME inbreuk op onze privacy ook omdat hij telkens gewoon achterom kwam!! Wij als betalende gasten mogen pas zaterdag na 16.00 uur arriveren en de zaterdag erna om 10.00 uur eruit en dan word je zo vaak lastig gevallen in vakantie waar we echt aan toe waren .Gelijk getracht Belvilla te bellen maar na een half uur in de wachtrij aan de telefoon gehangen te hebben gaven wij het op. Ook dit hebben we vastgelegd. s'Avonds wilde wij BBQ-en toen kwam er een man die vroeg of ze vanavond de enorm grote tuin mochten doen, Nee gezegd ( ook al was de grote tuin wel aan een opknapbeurt toe want de brandnetels stonden overal) deze man sprak goed Engels dus wij konden ook verbaal uit de voeten, hij bracht zijn excuus over (het huis bleek van zijn zus te zijn) en kwam hierna met koude champagne en een fles rode wijn langs .Ik gaf de tip gelijk om hem als aanspreekpunt voortaan in te schakelen. Aardige man en de tuin was nu weer voor ons zelf. Verder was er echt veel kapot ,1 trampoline gescheurd , geen tafelvoetbal aanwezig, zeer veel vliegen binnen , binnenwerk slaapkamer kapot, douchekop kapot , nou etc...etc....We hebben er foto's van gemaakt en hopen op jullie reactie naar ons toe. Wij hebben voor deze ene week veel geld betaald en er weinig voor gekregen, al jaren boeken we vrijwel elke vakantie een huis bij Topic travel of Belvilla maar nog nooit hebben we zo'n recensie hoeven te schrijven.

Summary: Groot huis in een heerlijk rustige omgeving. De koeien wandelen rond in de achtertuin. Kon wat meer fauteuils gebruiken in de woonkamer en ook de keuken/eettafel was wat krap. Weinig ruimte om boodschappen op te bergen ook en het keukengerij ed kan wel een moderniseringsbeurt gebruiken.

Summary: We had a great time relaxing at Rabouillere 1. The house and surroundings make you relax instantly, away from the hustle and bustle. Still big supermarkets and macDonalds are within driving distance. The nearby villages are tiny, friendly and very French, mostly residential (some lovely churches!), whereas the towns have terraces and shops. The house is big and feeling grand, and does have wifi. The garden is a real joy, it feels like you are in a park. Nice big trampolines.We have 2 children, 2 and 3, so safety was important. For the most part the garden is indeed fenced off, though on the other side of Rabouillere 2 there are possibilities for the children to "escape", but in reality that is not a real concern, it is simply too far away for them to go there. The house would be great for up to 3 couples with 2 babies and 4 children, but suited us fine too (2 adults with 2 toddlers).We had a great BBQ, and we took a paddling pool with us, which was a good move, considering the hot weather we had. We had several electrical storms at night, which were fascinating to watch, and it was nice to sit under the roof of the patio and see the rain.
